Stephen R. Covey (lahir 24 Oktober 1932 di Salt Lake City, Utah) menulis buku laris, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Covey tinggal bersama istrinya Sandra dan keluarga mereka di Provo, Utah. Di sini pula terletak Universitas Brigham Young, tempat Dr. Covey mengajar sebelum ia menerbitkan buku larisnya. Ia mempunyai 9 orang anak dan 49 cucu dari istrinya. Ia memperoleh Penghargaan Untuk Seorang Ayah dari National Fatherhood Initiative pada 2003.
